Dear Signal Hill Families,

This week's big event was Fun (Sports) Day! We got very lucky with the weather - not too hot, not really raining, but with some sunshine mixed-in. It was so fun to have a school wide event like this and to be able to invite our parent community as well. Thank you so much to our teachers and staff for organizing and all of our volunteers, including students from Pemberton Secondary School and a special thank you to Pemberton Valley Supermarket for their donation. The teachers vs. Grade 7 running races and tug-o-war were really funny!

Our Primary classes were treated to a visit by Andy Sward, and environmental activist who runs across Canada picking up bottles. Classes joined him for a community clean-up after his presentation. Check out his million bottle pledge for more information.
