Signal Hill Circular - June 3rd, 2022

June 3rd, 2022
Dear Signal Hill Families,
I think we're all a bit surprised we are already in the final month of school! And what a fun week filled with learning it has been!
The Cops for Cancer Fundraiser was a big success! The Early Act Club and the local RCMP hosted a bike rodeo with our primary students and a bottle drive. The bike rodeo raised $247.50 and the bottle drive $640 for a total of $887.50! 😊Thank you for your support!
Yesterday our Intermediate students were treated to an amazing "Signal Hill's Got Talent" show complete with singing, dancing, live music, animation, Rubik's cubes, and stand-up comedy! We are so proud and impressed by our students bravery and talent! We have a lot of talent at this school! Our audience was super supportive and we had a whole gym dance of the "Macarena" led by our teachers to finish off the show.

On Monday, some of our Primary classes were visited by Squamish Search and Rescue members to talk about how to stay safe and "hug a tree". Our students got cozy learning how to use emergency blankets!

Congratulations to our track team for a great season and very successful track meet! Students were on podiums in many events! A big thank you to our volunteer coaches!
