Signal Hill Circular- November 8th, 2024

In culture class, Heather teaches Division 1 how to dehydrate pine mushrooms (sqemps).

Ms. Weaver and Mlle Hamonic's class tries to recreate the fire building scene from the novel Hatchet.

Unlike the novel, they tried using a flint and discovered it was not so easy!

Science World on The Road visited Signal Hill this week.
K-3 students enjoyed the How2Science show, learning about the ways that scientists observe,
predict and test with many fun demonstrations. Grade 4-7 students enjoyed the Earth, Wind & Science Show
exploring incredible weather events that occur within our atmosphere.

A big THANK YOU to all of the classes that participated or contributed beautiful artwork to our Remembrance & Indigenous Veteran's Day Assembly!

Also, a shoutout to Ronin and Summer from Ms. Weaver's class for doing an amazing job leading the assembly!
Raiden Kawashima won the Grade 6/7 Peace Poster Competition.
The theme was Peace Without Limits, judged by the Pemberton Lions Club.
His work will go to district level, then BC, then Canada, and potentially the world!
