The Tiyata Strata Council would just like to remind everyone that the drop off zone (the loop near our playground) is for drop off only - NO PARKING. Furthermore, Tiyata Blvd itself cannot be used for drop off or parking. Please do not park anywhere within the Tiyata complex and only use the loop for drop-off. 

 

Violators may be towed at the vehicle owner’s risk and expense. 

 

The PAC hot dogs will be served on Monday 19th next week instead of Wednesday 21st, due to the Pit Cook.

 

Volleyball 🏐

 

Grade 6/7 volleyball starts this Thursday! Sign up forms are in the office and must be returned to Ms. Ismaeil.

Practices are every Thursday from 3:00- 4:45. 

Games TBD!

2. ICBC Personal Driving Record: Driving Records (icbc.com) You can enter the school office email address - [email protected] - on the ICBC website so that we receive the results directly.

Just a reminder that everyone must walk their bikes, scooters, skateboards, and other wheels on school property! Busy areas like parking lots, sidewalks, and around the school building can be crowded with cars, families, and students, making riding unsafe. Walking wheels helps prevent accidents and keeps arrival and dismissal safe for everyone.

Please note that we do not keep a cash float in the office. Field trips should be paid for online, but if you are unable to do so, then we can only accept exact change. Please give your cash to the teacher, as they will collect and organize all of the cash per class prior to submitting it to the office.

You must register your child if you have not already done so (you only need to register them once).

Please remind students who arrive after the 8:45 morning bell to sign in late before going to class. Alternatively, you may sign them in yourself and send them straight to class. Either way, it must be in-person in the office using the sign-in binder located on the counter.

 

This is so we have a record that students have arrived safely in the building and to mark them as present on the attendance.
