Signal Hill Weekly Announcements

It's a great day to learn, play, and work on the unceded territory of the Lil’wat Nation and St'át'imc Nation.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY

Field Trip Payments

Please note that we do not keep a cash float in the office. Field trips should be paid for online, but if you are unable to do so, then we can only accept exact change. Please give your cash to the teacher, as they will collect and organize all of the cash per class prior to submitting it to the office.

Here is the link to the website for online payments: https://sd48seatosky.schoolcashonline.com/
You must register your child if you have not already done so (you only need to register them once).

This link can always be found on our school and district websites (including on this announcements page).

Late-Sign In Policy

Please remind students who arrive after the 8:43 morning bell to sign in late before going to class. Alternatively, you may sign them in yourself and send them straight to class. Either way, it must be in-person in the office using the sign-in binder located on the counter.

This is so we have a record that students have arrived safely in the building and to mark them as present on the attendance.

Thank you for your cooperation!

🌿🥕 Announcement from Stewardship Pemberton Society🌻🥬

Stewardship Pemberton Society is excited to announce the new Portage Road Community Garden will be opening this spring! This project is a partnership between SPS and the Village of Pemberton, and is located at the new Multimodal Transport Hub.

Our volunteers and project contractors worked hard last fall to build 46 large garden boxes, and will be building 15 accessibility and learning focused boxes this spring. We'll also be building a community greenhouse to support nursery start production for our food security projects, and to serve as a teaching space.

Registration for the Portage Road Community Garden is open until March 10th. Garden boxes will be awarded on a lottery system, and we encourage all community members interested to register! The registration form can be accessed at  https://forms.gle/S6t3r7bv958BHML38, and garden information can be found on our website at https://stewardshippembertonsociety.com/portage-road-garden
