Signal Hill Circular - September 15th, 2023

September 15th, 2023
This week at Signal Hill...

Today was our school Terry Fox Run. Thank you for your donations and support - we raised over $1000! Our students had fun running and walking for a good cause.

Our Garden is looking amazing after a sunny growing season. We have lots of produce that will be harvested soon in preparation for our annual Pit Cook (October 13th) and Harvest Soup (November 1st).

Truth and Reconciliation Month
This month is Truth and Reconciliation Month, and one of the ways our school is honouring this is by working on the Project of Heart. Please see the link for more information. We will be sharing our completed project on September 28th.
On September 28th, at 10:45am our school will be having our Survivors' Flag raising ceremony and Orange Shirt Day. Please check your email for an official invite. Community members are welcome to attend.

Please find this week's announcements and important dates here.
